⁷⁴ Then he began to curse^[a], and to swear-with-an-oath^[b] that “I do not know the man”. And immediately a rooster crowed. ⁷⁵ And Peter remembered the word Jesus had spoken^[c]— that “Before a rooster crows, you will deny Me three-times”. And having gone outside, he wept bitterly.
